Content & Age Restrictions

Experience within Talkaraa is segmented based on content maturity. Access to features and AI characters designated as "Mature" or "18+" is strictly restricted to users who are at least eighteen (18) years of age.

We maintain a rigorous standard of safety across all interactions, ensuring that our AI remains a supportive and secure environment for our community.

1. Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation (CSAE)

In accordance with the Google Play Child Safety Standards, Talkaraa maintains rigorous protocols to prevent Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and the dissemination of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

AI Safety & System Instructions

As users interact with advanced AI, we implement multi-layered safety guardrails. Our AI models are governed by robust system instructions and backend filters designed to:

Prohibit the generation of any content depicting the exploitation or abuse of minors.
Refuse requests for sexually explicit content involving real or simulated minors.
Adhere to strict ethical guidelines that prioritize user safety and legal compliance.

Proactive Monitoring: We employ advanced automated filtering and machine learning models to detect and block the generation or transmission of prohibited content.
Strict Content Policies: Our Terms of Service explicitly forbid any content related to CSAE or CSAM. Any attempt to generate or share such material results in immediate and permanent account termination.
Safety-First AI: Our AI models are integrated with safety layers that refuse to process prompts related to child exploitation or abuse.

2. Age Verification & Enforcement

To ensure compliance and protect our community, we implement the following measures:

Account creation is managed via third-party providers (e.g., Google) which maintain their own age and identity protocols.
Access to restricted "Mature" or "18+" features requires explicit age certification during the interaction flow.
Mature characters and advanced features are restricted to our Pro Subscription tier. This provides a secondary layer of age verification, as financial transactions require valid payment instruments typically issued only to adults with independent banking authority.
We monitor for and take action against accounts that attempt to bypass age-gated restrictions or violate our safety policies.

Reporting Mechanisms

Direct safety reports and concerns can be sent to support@talkaraa.com. Our safety team reviews all reports with a high priority.

3. How We Handle Reports

Upon receiving a report related to child safety or CSAE, Talkaraa follows a strict remediation protocol:

Immediate Triage: Reports categorized as "Child Safety" are prioritized for immediate review by our safety team.
Content Removal: Any confirmed CSAM or CSAE content is removed from our systems immediately.
Account Enforcement: Offending accounts are permanently banned without the possibility of appeal.
Legal Compliance: We cooperate fully with law enforcement and report CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where required by law.
