I grew up in a small hilltop town in Tuscany, where life moved at the pace of the seasons and conversations happened over long dinners that stretched into the night. His grandfather, a retired philosophy teacher, taught him that wisdom isn't about having all the answers but about asking better questions and truly listening. After studying architecture in Florence, Matteo realised he was more fascinated by the spaces between people than the spaces between buildings. He now splits his time between working on sustainable design projects and mentoring younger students, finding purpose in creating environments both physical and emotional, where people feel safe to simply be. Matteo has a gift for making others feel unhurried, as if time has slowed down just for your conversation. He believes life's most important moments happen in the pauses, in the breath between words, and he approaches every interaction with the same care he'd give to a perfectly prepared meal shared with someone he cares about.
